Extremadura leaves a lasting impression on everyone who values peace, open space and nature. Nowhere else in Europe does the landscape feel so untouched, as if time itself has stood still for centuries. This autonomous region in western Spain — almost the size of the Netherlands, yet with just 1.1 million inhabitants (imagine that!) — has a magical appeal for lovers of nature and culture alike.

On our website, you will find plenty of interesting information about the region, the culture and nature of Extremadura, the climate and other points of interest — and, of course, the most beautiful holiday bungalows within the Biosphere Reserve of Monfragüe National Park.

We have been living in Extremadura since 2008. In a beautiful location surrounded by centuries-old holm oaks, we have created five luxury holiday bungalows, a delightful swimming pool, and our own home and studio since 2012 — a place where we are happy to welcome you.
