Photography hide

Within the grounds of Finca Las Abubillas, a spacious photography hide for two people is set up beside a water source where birds can drink and bathe. This hide is free of charge for our guests.

The hide is equipped with one-way mirrored glass and features two photography shutters, allowing birds to be photographed at close range without disturbance.

Depending on the season, a wide variety of bird species can be seen and photographed here. Most are songbirds. In addition to common species such as great tit, blue tit and long-tailed tit, nuthatch, Spanish sparrow and rock sparrow, birds such as azure magpie, kingfisher, spotless starling and corn bunting also regularly visit the hide.

Various ‘rarities’ may also be observed, particularly during spring and autumn migration.

Below are some photographs of birds that have been taken at this hide.
